My house is going to get new render

Heritage Protective Coatings are going to start work on the outside of my house tomorrow, 7.9.15.  In readiness for this I have been moving outside seating, container plants and pots away from the house, cut down all climbing plants and reduced shrubs to a few inches.  Any roses left on the bushes I cut and saved indoors. The house looks quite naked now:

 





















After taking these photos I took a quick look to find out where the ducks were  - and found all 8 of them in their little pond.  They didn't like being disturbed and got out as quick as they could:

 

 

A PS on a plant I bought some months ago.  From the picture on the label I had expected one or two large blooms next year ......... instead I got lots of little blooms, exactly like the picture - only a lot smaller, but very sweet!
