It's been very wet here the last two days, and I apologize in advance about the water droplets on the camera lens creating "blobs" on the photos.
The JCB arrived yesterday and dug out our nature pond, I think the driver did a splendid job, he worked until it got too dark last night:
Nearly all day today the ducks have had a whale of a time working their way through the tyre tracks:
I noticed that Ben on the left of this picture was keeping Beyoncé company. If he's developed an affection for her it would explain why he's spent the last four nights back in the duck shed where she sleeps, leaving his 6 girls on their own in the old hut - he always looks a bit sheepish when I let him out in the mornings, looking guilty and hesitating whether to go towards his 6 girls.
So here it is, our new nature pond:
The planting of the new trees is going to be finished on Monday.
