Jubilee .....

...... had house arrest all day Tuesday:
Just when I thought the leg she hurt was better she kept collapsing, unable to walk properly, on Tuesday morning.
PANIC!
I put her into the shed where she had a view of the others and called the vet for an appointment - but the avian vet wasn't going to be in attendance until the day after.  So we put food and water for her just inside the shed and watched her all day.  It didn't take long before she stood up again, even standing on top of the food container, and running all around the shed shouting to be let out.  She had lots of visitors, but that didn't shut her up!  After I cleaned all three huts I put Jubilee into her "home" hut shortly before bedtime, and when the others arrived she came out briefly with them and you wouldn't have known she'd been injured  -  maybe she knocked the same leg again which she hurt on 1st January ...

Yesterday morning she came out as normal, went around with the others all day,
and only in the evening did I notice that she put her left leg out sideways a bit as if to avoid putting weight on it.  I'll see how she goes today - we're starting a 7-day course of worming for all of them today.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to friend Graham!
