With visitors arriving this afternoon I thought I'd better put a few duckie pictures into the blogs before I run out of time.
When Annie and Eleanor came overnight last Tuesday Annie took a couple of little videos on her iphone. This first one is of Hedda receiving her 10 daily drops of Metacam. If this video cannot be opened I've put in a link to YouTube underneath.
This is the second little video Annie took, of the 10 young ones flying out of their shed [black Jay-Z is nearly always first out, if not him then it's big white H!]
I've been very busy with various meetings and making a new map for Coleorton Wood,
but on Wednesday and yesterday I took a few photos of the frog pond from the new room upstairs. Apart from Hedda, who tends to rest her injured right leg in the afternoons, I can see the rest of them messing about in this pond, all 14 are in this photo:

Lane[top left], Anke and Candida from the big duck pond are brave enough to stay in the frog pond now along with all the others. Georgie[yellow beak] is coming up to them. In the picture on the right 2 girls [Praline and Gertie] are in the middle on the diagonal, surrounded by Joseph and Jay on the left and Tuts and big H on the right.
Yesterday I was taking some more shots of the 14 in the frog pond when cat Lucy from next door came along. When I shouted at her to get back home all 7 ducks and 7 drakes slipped out of the frog pond thinking I'd shouted at them, and made their way back to the big duck pond and Hedda.
