For various reasons I've been prevented from keeping up with gardening "work", and while my back was turned growth and flowering has gone berserk - and the bluetit parents raising a family in the former post box on the house porch are so busy that the youngsters must surely fledge any minute now!
Next door's cat Lucy has made herself comfortable in my pot with [growing] Agapanthus and Begonias.
Things are growing well in the conservatory and greenhouse, I've already had two harvests of sugar peas and am only waiting for the broad beans to get a bit bigger before having some with bacon and parsley sauce!
