Monday, 7.2.11 - Happy Birthday, Brigitte!
The storms of the last few days have not only torn down the climbers from our house front and broken the drain pipe into three pieces, but the builders had to take down and rebuild part of this inner wall upstairs which had moved by up to 1½".
This window, out of which I shot many photos of the build progress, is going to be taken out tomorrow and the space is going to be walled up. After that the builders will start work on the roof space.
I snapped one of the builders when it looked as if he was floating on air. I had taken the camera with me when I went to clean out the top hut, hoping to get a few better photos of the ducks - I'm sorry I didn't manage that.
Here's just a dark photo of John [the pale spot in the middle, a little bit to the left of the top of the steps] shutting the duck hut at the bottom.

ReplyDeleteVery funny Mutti -went onto the german page (and noted that it is a day ahead of this one !!!) Google then alerted me to the fact that thhis page was written in Cant remember whether it was Romanian or Ukrainian... and would I like it translated ??
