It's a busy life!

Since the beginning of March I've been deep in preparations for a social gathering taking place tomorrow evening 24.3.16, of contributors and their families of our book of Coleorton memories.
It has sold out now, and we're trying to find out what corrections need to be made before the book goes into re-print.  We're also starting a new project of delving deeper into the ancestry of some of the older Coleorton families.

I have, though, managed to do some gardening most days, tidied up, planted beans and sweet peas - and I've even washed the car this morning!

Some photos from the last few days:

A large skip has been delivered today which will take the heaps of rubbish
on the left of the two photos above - and lots, lots more!

I have planted the gorgeous tall Hellebore "Anna's Red" which Carl brought me on Mothering Sunday next to the Cercis, which was also a gift from Carl and Val.  The Cercis looks dead at the moment, but I'm hoping it will spring into life soon.

The visiting wild duck pair are getting cheeky, two days running now I've had to chase them off the fish pond - it looks like they've been demolishing the water lilies.

And the frogs have got busy in the frog pond, the water is "boiling" when I go out in the mornings.
