Is Caramel feeling the urge?

Yesterday morning, Monday, I was just turning off the water tap at the garage having seen to the ducks when I saw Caramel running past me with great urgency, escorted by Ben watching over her. They stood around as if not knowing what to do while I opened conservatory windows and the upper greenhouse, so when I was going back to the house for my breakfast I cast a curious glance into the unused greenhouse [which I'm going to take down to have a better view from the conservatory] - and saw two eggs in the corner, AHA!

Later in the day I went out with the camera and could then see there were four eggs, whether Caramel had been laying one there the last four days I don't know.

This morning the same performance, only this time Caramel was escorted by all apart from Dotty and Dash.  I fetched the camera:

She was well "ducked" down when I left, hard to spot from the outside.  Caramel doesn't stay sitting on the eggs, though, I saw her just a short while ago in the duck run having her wash and brush up.  I do wonder if she decided to go into the old greenhouse just to lay her egg in peace.  In the hut there is Dash at the moment intent on sitting on eggs, I have to chase her off every day.

My sweetcorn is growing well, some carrots in that box, too.  And yesterday I harvested my first cucumber and had some with my lunch.  My tomatoes are still green.  I'm just a little bit envious as Annie already has some red tomatoes!
