Another November Saturday

Before anybody complains about the lack of recent pictures I thought I'd go round the garden late this morning and take a few shots.  There had been some drizzle earlier on, and in the week just gone we had 2 frosty mornings and on Thursday the buckets and bowls were iced over - winter isn't far off - but I didn't have to go far before I found some colour:

Gerd, this strawberry tree [arbutus unedo] you sent me has been flowering, and I've only just noticed.  The one that died in the fierce winter took years before it flowered!
