Short but happy visit

My lovely brother and 'little sister' came for a brief visit on Friday, absolutely loaded down with "early birthday presents" for me, so many, so varied, so well chosen, an embarrassment of riches again, I'm blessed!

We had far too short a time with them, but did manage to have three meals together [one at my favourite restaurant on Friday night], a couple of walks through the garden and a photo opportunity with the ducks after bribing them with pieces of cucumber.

After John found lots of favourite garden produce for them yesterday afternoon it was time to load up and they were on their way home again - we were pleased to hear three hours later that they had arrived safely and there had been no disasters in the new porch extension in their absence.

Missing you already, Maria and Gerd, but it was lovely seeing you, THANK YOU!
