So it's just 19 now

Yesterday afternoon we had high winds and snow flurries.  The snow didn't lie on the ground, thankfully, it soon turned to rain overnight.
I managed to get a few photos of our reduced flock today, the first ones through the upstairs window and then in the open while they were waiting to get their wheat rations:

 

The arrows point to the four drakes we have left now, Tuts on the left, the black Jay-Z and the two fawn&whites Ben and Captain.  The last two nights we've had 15 and 16 sleeping in the duck shed as they all ran in there at bed time, 15 on Monday only because Dotty got left behind in the pond and she spent the night in Captain's hut.  I think it was because all 5 drakes from the top hut had gone that the girls from there stuck to the boys in the duck shed.  Tonight I managed to get hold of Ben, and once we had 4 ducks guided into the top hut I pushed Ben in behind.

Ideally I would like to share them all out like this:
Bottom hut: Captain, Anke, Candi as before, and add big girls Bless and Winnie [mainly because Captain is our biggest boy and he was used to our big Hedda]
Top hut: Ben with the only two fawn&white girls we have, Billie-Jean and GertieII, and I'd like to add Honey and Purdy [who were always together last "summer"] if they'll let me.
That leaves 7 girls for the duck shed with drakes Tuts and Jay-Z, i.e. Beyoncé, Dotty, Vera, Dash, Caramel and Mocca.  It'll take time to share them out like this .... if they let me, of course!
