1st Thursday in the month walk

It was a lovely walk yesterday, one that John had organized and had walked twice before with grandson Sam [now at Uni] and got horribly wet.  We were in the Newtown Burgoland area, 14 of us, and had such luck with the weather - the best day of the week!

I didn't find any unusual poisonous plants on the walk this time, just the "snowberries" took my attention and the tiny white viola in the middle of our path in a field.
