for the Salisbury audience ....
... who've been clamouring for more photos of our now 9 mixed-sized ducklings. We had a little bit of sunshine this morning, and while I was working on extending their muddy run yet again I left one side open with access to the pond - they accepted the invitation with gusto!

ReplyDeleteThat last one is one of my faves too, and it illustrates the situation between Billie and Gertie perfectly. Poor Gertie has made herself a little nest at the far end of the hut, I saw when I cleaned it yesterday, with a couple of eggs in it. Billie still has 3 in hers but neither of them seem to be sitting on them, spend nearly all their time outside with the little ones.
