All the photos from yesterday were taken from INDOORS, the afternoon was just too wet to go out, although both of us had been working in the garden all morning and John even managed to finish mowing the field in between two showers.
This pale duck in front with the green beak is the one that is forever picking fights with Bless[top left in picture], the times I've chased her away from Bless without success, even the drakes have given up separating them. I shall have to call her what I shout at her all the time: NAUGHTY! Could she be a drake in disguise, without curly tail feathers, I wonder?
The rain got steadily worse during the afternoon, finishing in two almighty thunderstorms in which even the ducks sought shelter in their shed!
There was sunshine after the rain and they had a monster preening session.
