In the frog pond this morning it still looked as if the heads of three of the boys [and the beak of one] were black:
But then, after the troupe had run down to the big pond where the sun hits first in the mornings, what a difference! Just take a look at Tuts with the white eye surround, at the top in both pictures left and right.
Only 12 days ago the two boys in the middle looked like this, Joseph at the back with a grey head ....
... and the magnificently black [although ragged in the moult] Jay-Z is now no longer black, but emerald green and brown with a beak that's turning more yellow by the day:
Our technicolour Joseph is no bad sight, either:
Isn't it great how they always keep an eye on us?
The big morning entertainment [apart from teen sex exploration] is always the water jet from the hose with all those bubbles:
