Similarly the camellias. The white one used to bloom in January and the pink one early March at the latest. Both of them look pretty sickly [I must get some fertilizer for them!].


The two Pieris underneath the camellias are doing well though:


We had two extra workmen today - we knew them already, they're two of the team who installed our bathroom. Today they started with the installation of the solar panels:
On Monday, first day of Spring, the breakthrough from the new part of the house to the old was made.

We don't have a door there yet, but it's very easy for me now to walk through and take photos. From the window opposite the door frame I get a good view of the 2 ponds below:
The frogs were being very active in the corner top left, in this second picture you can see them a little closer:
Unfortunately our frog-hunter Primmie knows where they are ..... and she brought her mate Blob with her:

I think it looks great.



When I was going through the garden taking photos the ducks were out in the field foraging for tiny creatures they love eating; you can hardly see the ducks in this picture:
Shortly before ducky bedtime I got some better photos, though:



PS on Thursday morning: pleased to report that my nose has stopped running this morning and the throat only feels a little thisk now, HALLELUJAH!
