I love the way he rests his chin on his favourite ball, and he could hardly believe that he got a pig's ear for a present on Christmas Day when it was nowhere near three o' clock in the afternoon, which is his normal time for this treat.
I finally started the very complicated looking jig saw puzzle with sorting trays [one of Annie's presents for my birthday] and got the river section done first. I'm down to just white bits now which will take a bit of time to fit in.

I treated myself [thank you again, G&M!] to a new top and a dress, both from a company I hadn't heard of before [Match Life?], and I am absolutely delighted with both items:
On Christmas Eve I had four lots of visitors, and on Christmas Day Carl, Val, Emm, Sarah and Alfie came to see me and Ollie - but we managed only one half decent photo with the self timer.
After Annie, Charlotte and Eleanor had come back from Sweden Carl and family came to see us again and we had a little family reunion [minus Colin who was getting ready for his trip to Nepal] with a quick lunch of left over turkey and bits and pieces.
Annie and her family had a dream of a time in Swedish Lapland, I'll be cheeky and pinch just a few of their fabulous photos:
