We had another very wet day today, everywhere outside is muddy and squelchy.  But a little bit of light did appear in the sky around 5 pm and I took a few photos.


The ceiling in the new sunlounge had looked like this at 2 pm

and looked like this at 5 pm:

I clambered upstairs and saw that it was quite boarded up now.  I had wanted to have open beams up there, but the new building regulations demand extra thick insulation - which meant that the roof beams disappeared.  We shall have some beams put on top, though, once it's plastered.


The opening where the spiral stairs are coming through looks very neat now, as well:













After I took these shots I made a discovery - there was a little gap in the plastic covering of the window, big enough to push the lens of the camera through, and this was the view:
