My Indian Bean Tree is looking lovely right now:
The "Daisy Bush", present from Gerd and Maria, is blooming lovely too.
and tore out a huge amount of nettles by the big [still draining] pond, my arms are still tingling!
Meanwhile the ducks were in the field where Ben was having a "kip":

Friday was an extremely wet day, it rained from morning till night. I had an appointment in Derby where I arrived early in the City Centre, and then got hopelessly lost trying to get to my destination [one way streets, diversions, gridlock]. I parked up in a side street and asked for directions from a kind gentleman who walked me to where I had to be. After the successful meeting I couldn't find my way back to the car again, and walked the side streets of Derby for two hours in the pouring rain!
Yesterday I had charming little visitors, a hen pheasant with a single, growing chick. I notice they were here again today.
