Those of you on Facebook will already know that my White Gables house sign [the board was beautifully engraved by Peaneh] was vandalised in the night from Saturday to Sunday. Neighbour Peter who lives two houses further down the road found it outside his and brought it back to me on Sunday morning. I've put it into the garage for now until I can get around to repairing it. A policeman came this evening to find out what I knew about the disturbance, some people on the road had heard noises at 2 a.m., myself and Stella at the Post Office had heard nothing at all.
The weather cheered up today after a cold, blustery and sometimes wet weekend, so I've spent most of the day in the garden after a welcome early visit from Val who collected her and Sarah's glamour photos, this is one of them:
The whole garden seems to have exploded recently with new life and blossom, I'll take you for a walk around:
Tuts taking a bath in Dotty's little pool.
My two new ducks have integrated well into the group, Cheryl with her orange legs is mid left and April top right.

The Kerria [Mothering Sunday present from Carl a couple of years ago] has now burst its buds, and so has the only red camellia I've got - I wonder if I had a cutting sent from my niece Susie?
I have started today to clean and tidy the conservatory, and have also strapped up the "bird clock" [a present from Michael and Peaneh] as well as hanging leaf cacti up high, friend Petra style.
These primula are a beautiful sign of Spring, I'm lucky to have clumps of them all over the garden.
All the hazels I've planted look like they've taken, leaves are out on lots of them, strangely enough the smallest hazel sticks showed leaves first!
