It's very cold and wet with a bit of sun in between, Happy Sunday to you!

We've not had a "full house" of eggs again since the 17th, but a dozen three times, and yesterday there was a mini egg among the 10 I collected:

These tiny eggs happen now and again, I think we had 2 of them last year.  They're perfectly formed - just no yoke!

Yesterday afternoon, just after the heaviest of showers had gone over, John called me to the door and said LOOK!  At first I didn't know what he meant, maybe the half eaten egg at the bottom of the frog pond.  "No, Dotty!" he said, and there she was:

Friend Petra is about to move house, and she sent me some of her gorgeous irises and white
day lily she dug out of her old garden.  I planted them in a sunny spot behind the stone owls.

Hope mine will eventually be as lovely as these in Petra's photos!).

Dotty didn't stay long with the others, she has her own mind and obviously decided to go "back home".  Tuts followed her briefly - I wasn't sure what his intentions were! - and I recorded Dotty's progress from inside the house:

The others had all settled down for a snooze - Honey is on her day lily "nest" again.
