memories of sunshine

As yesterday, Tuesday 28th, was a total washout with literally never-ending rain and wind [my sympathy to granddaughter Charlie who started her holiday job at Stonehenge] and today promises to be the same, I thought I'd put in some sunny pictures from Sunday to cheer us all up:

5 ducks suddenly appeared on the main path,
busily searching through the grass and then, Dash in front, "dashing" off to the water buckets:

As the shadows moved so did the ducks,

and Honey, who had started lying left of the two-stemmed bird food birch, finished up nestling under the Phlomis, you can see her half way up the picture on the right behind the stone owls.

I'm feeling a little more hopeful about her now, she did well yesterday in all that rain.  And Dash hurt her leg on Sunday, she was limping.  So she and the other four have been shut into the old chicken run the last two days to recover ....
