sunny Monday

After the lovely diamond celebrations last week we were back to "normal" life, which however was made much more pleasant by the sunny weather all Monday.  I started clearing weeds and dead vegetation near the house, and the ducks kept me company.  As you can see in the first picture, they were all very much relaxed, some sleeping, some preening, others bathing [the metal tub was practically empty at night] and swimming, and a few very keen to see if I'd turned up some more worms:
