Many happy returns of the day, Carl, may all outstanding wishes come true this next year in your life!
Duckling No. 10 was in the incubator this morning, and another one in one of Mel's eggs had broken through the shell. This latter one hatched at 20 to 1 and we've just taken it out to join the others.

No.10 came out of one of 'our' eggs dated 13.5. On the photo above it is third from right - you can see it's not as fluffy as the others. Mind you, several of the others look a bit scraggy as they've had their heads in the food and water.

On the right of this photo you can see the just 'released' No. 11. It looks as if it's going to be a fawn&white - the four others from Mel were chocolate or black with white markings.
Because they make such a mess with the water I put all 11 into the big blue "bath" so they could splash about to their heart's content and not drench one of the drawers they're normally in. It's lower than the drawers, and before long 3 of them had escaped over the top and then couldn't jump in again! They're a delightful little lot, I could watch them for hours ....

This is Sarah's favourite on the left here, and I think that little one on the right is the same as the one I photographed for Annie's painting.
